nonono ya silly bums, as with every other clothing, mens and womens sizes are not equal and make no fucking sense. for shoes you take the mens' size and add 2, to get the equivalent in womens
so for me, I am a size 10 in mens shoes, sometimes 10. depending on the brand. hence, my size on womens shoes would be about a 12 or up to 14

Shoe sizes work differently in different countries.
I know men's and women's aren't the same here, but I have no idea how they work over there. I know that some sizing systems are unisex.

At least it's not as stupid as women's dress sizing.
(And after further research, it seems that I don't know my own country's system, and we have the same sizes for men and women; actually, the US seems to be quite unusual in sizing men's and women's shoes differently)

also for the yoko and ohana cosplay i needed short shorts, which are rather impossible to find for men, other than suepr expensive fetish ones or gay ass running shorts. so yeah
