      Most Israelis think the settlers are dickish too, but just like in the US, the religious right has a disproportionate amount of power.

      One of the things I find amusing is that all the Israeli settlements are in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank), but most of the suicide bombers come from gaza, which is Judenrein.

      And I think the Israelis would just invent a new form of energy if you EMPed them. They've already invented flying cars (kinda).

      You claimed that the rich use more government services than the poor. In this country, they don't. They go private for everything. But they still pay for government-provided services.

      You also don't provide any answers to the question of how we will replace all the businesses that have gone bankrupt or been moved abroad.

      Remember when Mugabe took all the farms off the white people and gave them to his friends? Remember when this was depicted as redistribution of wealth from the wealthy white elite to the poor black majority? Remember how the country went to the shitter because the people he gave those farms to didn't have a fucking clue how to run them? That's what will happen in Britain.

      Britain is not a huge country with massive natural resources waiting to be exploited. Britain is not a country that's going to have a huge manufacturing industry any time soon. Britain is a small, crowded country that makes money from service industries. If you destroy those industries, everything gets fucked up. The poor people can not take the jobs the rich people used to have. It would take decades of massive but slow social changes before they were prepared for that.

      It's not this country that has buttmagic. It's the US under FDR that had buttmagic. Or rather, the wartime US that had buttmagic. A blind orang-utan with Down's syndrome could have made the American economy boom during those years. We can't do that. We have to be careful. We do not have the massive advantages that you had.

      And no, we have not transcended the rules of class warfare. On the contrary, they are so deeply ingrained here that if you got rid of the upper class overnight, it would be like making a junkie go cold turkey. No-one would have a fucking clue what to do and everything would go to shit.

      In small, old, first-world countries with well-established ways of doing things, you need to tread lightly.

      He never said that: he simply stated and implied that countries are different, even if they speak a somewhat common language and have some shared cultural background. All this talk about massive debts and class warfare is just that, talk. Because no other developed country in the world has this as collateral.
