   According to an article in gamesindustry, all Capcom has left in the bank is a mere 152 million. That may seem like a ton of cash, but for a AAA Video Game developer, especially going into a new console generation, that really isn't that much. And you're left to wonder how much of that warchest of theirs has shrunk in the past decade.

   And Capcom's solution to their financial situation? More in-house games (yay!) and more DLC (FUCK YOU, CAPCOM!).

   IMHO, how much longer is it before Capcom enters a THQ-like tailspin into the ground?

    Some random guy on the net can correctly list most of the reasons for their cash sinking into the black hole, yet they are pushing in solutions that are not addressing a single one of these.

    Why is this seeming stupid shit happening? Simple; arrogant executives who won't admit to stockholders that all of this shit is happening directly because their own decisions. The devs must have seen it coming, which is why the likes of Shinji Mikami and Keiji Inafune decided to get the fuck outta there before it consumes them too. They create some business jargon like 'market climate' and make boogeymen out of their own fans to lift responsibility away from themselves as they lie and deceive in the boardroom meeting. Just examining the kind of statement VP Svensson released in the past is enough evidence of their way of thinking.

    The only smart thing they did is that unlike some other companies(lol Wada, Minami, Hino), they are not exposing to us who they are, especially the corporate ass-scratchers in Osaka; Lest they want fans' wrath be unleashed upon them like angry bees aching to sting those asses.

    Capcom is so broke, they can't bring SF4 to the 8th Gen.

    Yoshinori Ono (SF4 producer) said Capcom does not have the resources to bring USF4 to either the PS4 or XB1.
    Elsewhere, Capcom Europe is cutting over half it's staff.

    Capcom is fucked, 'nuff said. It's not a matter of "if", but "when".

    For comparison's sake, NRS is going to release Injustice Ultimate Edition for the PS4 (and other platforms) on the 12th of November. The PS4 officially comes out the 15th.

    I think Valve should buy them out.

    It's a little out side of their usual genre but would be good for expanding their scope.

    Also would mean the games could appear on several platforms.
