I was always a sucker for KyoAni's moe blob art but stuff like K-on! don't appeal to me much. I'm more an action/sci-fi/mystery/horror fan, so Kyokai no Kanata is story-wise closer to my taste.
It would be nice if KyoAni did some mystery-horror.
