  2. SCHOOL HEADMASTER "OBSESSED WITH THE BOTTOMS OF VERY YOUNG BOYS" ON TRIAL FOR SEXUAL ABUSE

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-31004568

A former head master "obsessed with spanking" carried out sex attacks at a Norfolk school, a court has been told.

David Tuohy, 83, who now lives in Oxford, took charge of Eccles Hall, a special school, in the 1970s.

At Norwich Crown Court he denied 18 counts of indecent and serious sexual assaults on five boys with special needs aged as young as 10.

Prosecutor Andrew Shaw said Mr Tuohy was obsessed with spanking and lost interest in the boys as they got older.

"You may think from the evidence that he had a particular deviant sexual fascination with the bottoms of very young boys," Mr Shaw said.

Mr Tuohy taught at the boarding school for children who found life difficult in mainstream education and later became its head master.

The boys came from different parts of the UK and found themselves alone, isolated and separated from their families.

"As one of the people charged with the duty of caring for these children, he abused the trust placed in him and used these children for his own sexual gratification," Mr Shaw said.

"Many of the now-adult men who suffered abuse went on to have significant problems in their later lives."

All the alleged victims described being spanked by Mr Tuohy.

The attacks are alleged to have happened at the school, now known as the New Eccles Hall School, in Quidenham.

    The trial continues.

  4. I laughed at Angelenos for making a big deal of the so-called cold weather, so I guess its only fair that I give them a laugh at the expense of people in the UK's reaction to an "Earthquake". This isn't too far from were I live, but far enough that I didn't feel it.

Now RUTLAND is hit by an earthquake: 3.8 magnitude tremor hits Midlands village just a day after Hampshire was rocked

-Tremor hit East Midlands market town of Oakham at 10.25pm last night
-It came barely 24 hours after 2.9 magnitude quake struck Winchester
-More than 1,500 people who felt it contacted British Geological Survey
-It is the third earthquake to be recorded in the area in less than 12 months

Sally Smart wrote: 'Earthquake wow that was a biggen!! Thought a truck was coming through the house #adrenalinepumping.'

Stuart Thomas added: 'Well that explains things falling off the wall'.

A man called Ben wrote: 'How was there an earthquake in England? It's the end of the world.'

Another called Dirk wrote: 'Meanwhile on Facebook, people from my village, where the earthquake barely hit, are making sure they're all okay and prepared for the worst.'

GOAT ANUSES IN THE CALIPHATE MUST BE COVERED TO PREVENT MUSLIMS FROM BEING SEDUCED

    http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/how-islamic-state-fighters-pose-a-threat-to-the-world-a-986632.html

In Raqqa, Syria, the Islamic State's "caliphate" has already become a reality. All women in the city are required to wear the niqab veil and pants are banned. Thieves have their hands hacked off and opponents are publicly crucified or beheaded, with the images of these horrific acts then posted on social networks.

The few hair salons that are still open are required to black out the pictures of women on the packaging for hair dye solutions. Weddings are only permitted to take place without music. And at livestock markets, the hindquarters of goats and sheep must be covered in order to prevent men from viewing their genitalia and having uncomely thoughts.

The rest of the article is a bit boring and naive though. Somehow I even doubt whether the line bolded above is true.

  6. CHINA CRIMINALISES "VULGAR CULTURE" OF USING FAMOUS PEOPLE'S NAMES AS ONLINE PSEUDONYMS, WANTS EVERYONE TO USE THEIR REAL NAME

I'm sure Obongo will be quick to follow his Chinese masters' lead

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-31127920

China's internet watchdog has banned web users from posting messages under the names of famous people.

The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) (kek) said it was combating the "vulgar culture" of using names like Barack Obama, or those of Chinese officials.

The CAC is a Communist Party organ overseen by President Xi Jinping, so its rules will carry more force than those of other regulators.

Similar restrictions by other bodies have been sidestepped by web firms.

The CAC announced a series of measures that would be in force from 1 March.

It said nicknames should not include information that could violate the constitution, subvert state power, undermine national security or promote rumour-mongering.

In addition, web users must sign a pledge to avoid "illegal and unhealthy" internet activity, and register accounts under their real names even if they want to post under nicknames.

CAC's head of mobile internet, Xu Feng, promised that the new regulations would not limit users' freedom.

"This does not restrict internet users, instead it protects their legitimate rights," he said.

Real-name registration has been a goal of the Chinese authorities for years.

The State Internet Information Office (SIIO), an organ of the State Council, passed similar rules in 2012.

The office announced last month that it would step up its efforts to enforce users of microblogs, smartphone chat apps to register with real names.

But campaigners have decried the regulations as a crackdown on free speech, and the SIIO has been largely unable to enforce the measures.

With some 649 million people online, there are more internet users in China than any other country.

However, Beijing has been gradually tightening its control over the web and has the world's most well-developed censorship system, known as the Great Firewall.

International websites such as Facebook are banned, and last month China successfully blocked several Virtual Private Network (VPN) services that were allowing people to skirt around the restrictions.

Internet comments that appear to criticise or undermine the government are monitored particularly carefully.

Last month 133 accounts on the messenger service WeChat were shut down for "distorting history", state media said.

  9. http://www.topgear.com.ph/news/motoring-news/car-pinned-by-bus-on-edsa-is-most-horrific-thing-you-ll-see-this-week

Car pinned by bus on EDSA is most horrific thing you'll see this week

A passenger car that most definitely looks like a Toyota Vios was pinned by two buses on EDSA (Muñoz in Quezon City) this morning. Photos of the horrific accident flooded our mailbox, and we're sharing them with you (apologies if you're having lunch at this very moment). Most photos appear to show just one bus (Dela Rosa Transit, TYM-449) ramming and crushing the car beneath it, but at least one photo shows that the car was actually sandwiched by the Dela Rosa bus behind it and another bus in front of it.

The photo senders said the driver was still inside the car when they took the pictures. Indeed, rescuers can be seen trying to extricate the driver from the wreck. We have no knowledge of whether the Vios driver had passengers with him/her. One photo shows the Vios as having a conduction number of YL-1942, with a medical doctor's badge attached to the license plate holder.

We're assuming the driver has been extricated by now, and that he/she is okay. Let this be a reminder for all private motorists to be extra careful around large vehicles. If possible, avoid staying idle in the bus lane, as this could spell disaster if a bus suddenly loses its brakes and crashes into your rear.

I'm not posting pics. Just click the link for those.
No actual guro, but for car enthusiasts, it's cringe worthy.

No kidding: Commuting here is an adventure. Literally. But instead of being killed by dragons and similar behemoths, we have to worry about stupid drivers. Just the other day, the jeep I was on almost hit a ten-wheeler and it's the jeepney driver's fault. He wasn't paying attention when the security guard was signaling him to stop and wait.

  12. SAND-NIGGER PAEDOPHILE FROM ROTHERHAM DIES IN CAR CRASH, UKIP SAY IT WAS KARMA

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11395663/PC-under-investigation-over-Rotherham-sex-abuse-scandal-dies-in-crash.html

A police officer who was being investigated in relation to the Rotherham child sexual exploitation scandal has died following a car crash.
South Yorkshire Police said PC Hassan Ali, 44, died after he was involved in a collision in Sheffield last month when was off-duty.

It is understood that two complaints had been made about PC Ali, connected to the probe into sexual exploitation of children in Rotherham and he had been placed on restricted duties while the matter was being considered by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).

PC Ali, who had been with the South Yorkshire force for 18-years, had been on foot when he was hit by a car at around 10.15pm on Wednesday 28 January.

He had been in hospital for more than a week, but died on Friday morning with his family at his bedside.

No one has been arrested in connection with the collision and police investigations are ongoing, but it is understood it is being treated as a tragic accident at this stage.

Chief Constable David Crompton said: “All of our thoughts are with Hassan’s family and on behalf of the force I would like to offer my sincere condolences at this incredibly difficult time.

“PC Ali was a well-liked officer whose colleagues are devastated by what has happened.”

It is understood PC Ali was under investigation at the time of his death over allegations that he had twice asked a victim of the sexual exploitation scandal out on a date.

A total of four complaints had been made against PC Ali and case had been referred to the IPCC which was considering whether to launch a full investigation into the allegations.

According to the Sheffied Star, one of the complainants, who is now an adult, claimed PC Ali had first asked her out when she was 17 and then did so again four years later.

The woman said the officer, who had been involved with her case, was aware she had been a victim of sustained abuse between the ages of 14 and 17.

The woman said the officer’s behaviour had been "inappropriate and totally unprofessional".

She claimed she had told the police of his approaches in August 2013, but nothing was done to investigate her allegations.

The nature of the other complaints made against him are not known.

Last month a spokesman for the force said: “South Yorkshire Police has received four public complaints relating to alleged misconduct of one of our officers.

“The complaints were made by two separate people about the officer, a PC based in the Rotherham area.

“The force has referred the matter to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.”

WOMEN'S PRISON MASS JAIL BREAK AFTER INMATES IN DOMINATRIX GEAR HANDCUFF MALE GUARDS EXPECTING 'MASS ORGY'

Twenty-eight inmates escaped from a Brazilian jail after three women in fantasy police costumes "seduced" prison wardens, it was reported today.

Police found three wardens naked and handcuffed inside the Nova Mutum public jail, near Cuiaba, central Brazil, the morning after the mass break-out.

The women reportedly drugged the prison guards by giving them spiked whisky after convincing them to take part in an orgy, according to investigators.

Inmates then left the prison through the main doors, even taking with them guns and munitions they had taken from prison caches.

Police later found a bag of lingerie and dominatrix police uniforms believed to have been worn by the temptresses.

Last night photos of one the naked wardens, believed to have been leaked by amused police officers who found him, had been shared thousands of times on social network sites.

The three women - one of them reportedly the girlfriend of one of the prisoners who escaped - arrived at the prison at 3am on Thursday morning and asked to be let inside to "chat and drink", police said.

The prison guards reportedly obliged and were soon persuaded to leave their posts, accompanying the girls to staff sleeping quarters.

After drugging the wardens the women handcuffed them, took their keys and unlocked all the prison's cells, according to chief Angelina de Andrades Ferreira.

She told a news conference: "The plan was to seduce them. They served them cheap whisky with some substance to knock them out, then unlocked the central gate which accesses the internal cells.

"Whoever wanted to escape left by the front door.

"From the moment they drank the whisky the agents don't remember a thing. One was found dizzy, trying to wake up. Another slept for the whole afternoon and couldn't even be questioned."

The inmates took three 12 caliber rifles shotguns, two 38 caliber revolvers and munition, she said.

Ms Ferreira said the escape was planned by the boyfriend of one of the women, Bruno Amorim, 18, was was serving time for attempted murder, robbery and firearms possession.

She said: "Everything indicated that he planned and executed everything, with the help of his girlfriend."

She said the three prison officers had been arrested and will be charged with "facilitating a jailbreak" and "culpable embezzlement" because of the theft of firearms.

Last night eight of the 28 prisoners had been recaptured as police launched a massive operation to track down the fugitives.

One inmate was found wandering around the centre of Nova Mutum in a drunken state, holding one of the stolen rifles.

Another was caught after stealing a stealing a pick-up truck from a farm and crashing it, police said.

  17. His defense lawyer argued that Buono didn't violate the laws against invasion of privacy, nor the laws against "attempted encouragement of child sexual abuse", which is a count related to "child abuse images".
