Tomorrow is February the 1st, that is the day when we start our great Challenge! The No-Sugar Challenge! Of course, that doesn't mean the Challenge is about no eating sugar at all, because you know, that'd be bad. The point of this is to take a break from all the sweetened sodas, cakes, candy and all that stuff that makes us love life for a whole month.So a few of the things we won't be eating, again:
- Cakes.
- No sugar in Coffee or Tea.
- Sodas (not even the supposedly "sugar-free" ones, gaiz! WATER DIET! But you are allowed to make you a homemade orange juice with no sugar in, if you like.)
- Candy. (Including Chocolate, yes, I know it's hard, but let's try!)
- No chips, popcorn, cheetos... You name it. Sorry.
- No MCDo, BK and any fast food.What you CAN eat:
- Fruits!
- Oranges, kiwis, apples, bananas...
- MORE FRUIT!
- Water and milk!
- EVEN MORE FRUIT; AAARGHHH!!!!
- VEGETABLES! Because... omnomnom.The thought is that we will eat more healthy too, so go ahead and post whatever healthy food you want for the day. I'll post a sugar-free milkshake receipt, for example. You decide for yourself how detailed your diet for the month is going to be and you can whine all about your pain here.
Now, don't jump on me with the whole "fruit sugar is just as bad blablaba"; I have enough assholes on my FB to rant about it. In any case, the thought isn't to stop eating sugar completely. The point is to stop eating candeh and all dat stuff, eating more natural stuff (and quite honestly, an apple is lots healthier than two donuts).
This is also supposed to inspire you guys to eat healthier stuff! You know, instead of a big menu on McDonalds, you eat some yummie salmon with salad or whatever you guys would like. You are very welcome to share healthy recipes that you try on this month.
Please don't rant about how "annoying" and "badly" planned this is simply 'cuz you have too much time on your hands, no one is making you join this.
Also:
And yeah, ofc you'll get fat by eating tons of fruit too, but the thought is that you'll turn to fruits if you really need the sugar, mostly you outta keep away.
^Mostly because we don't need the amount of sugar we do eat but I know all of us got our cravings.
