The internet is a double-edged sword in this fashion. Plus, the inhabitants of the internet possess a very dogmatic nature these days, about their things.
Also, comments can be disabled on YouTube anyways, but it's a feature that is rarely used.
Then there's just not reading the comments, but if one can't seem to find it in themselves, to resist temptations, then there may be alternatives that the person must seek.
