  1. I read on a Japanese-American Newspaper (in Japanese) that there will be an Anti-Japanese demo going to be held on 9/16/12 in front of the Japanese Embassy in New York City by Chinese and Taiwanese. It is reported by the newspaper that China Daily Digital ver has originally stated this, saying that many Taiwanese College Professors and scholars will attend.

According to the newspaper that is in my hands, it states in quotes "'If we (the Chinese and Taiwanese) don't do anything then the Senkaku Islands will be lost forever'". Okay I understand.
Then they say, "'If the island is lost to Japan then their next target is China or Taiwan'". What???

Anti-Japanese demos will also be held on the 15th in San Francisco, and also on the 18th in Washington DC.

What's funny (if I can call it funny) is that the 16th is on a Sunday, and the Japanese Embassy of New York is closed on that day.

What do you guys think about this?

Will anyone be present in New York then? If you love Japan or is Japanese, and you have a Japanese Flag, please carry that around.

  6. I meet with my new language partner that very Sunday. I'm sure she would be very entertained by the lengths these people take to lash out at her country. I should totally swing by there with her.

  9. Its going to cost the Chinese some money they have to for a protest.

  10. The faggots in Japanese Parliament ain't exactly helping the case for Japan, so whatever edge China thinks it can get out of this smear campaign, it's their own fault.

If I were to laugh at white people outside the German embassy in NY protesting the bombing of Britain in WWII, would that also constitute hatred of my "white side" which came to this country from Britain centuries ago?

There has to be a more original idea than this.

  20. question:

besides the bragging rights, does the islands have any cultural or historical importance? any rare minerals or animals... well, anything worth all the fuss?

seriously, it's even weirder than the Malvinas/falkland islands thing
