   I have read about an incident eight years ago about why voice actresses should NEVER take any AV idol roles.

   I read about how a seiyuu from the Visual Novel and anime Diamond Daydreams got permabanned from being a voice actress. I recall her name is Eriko Ishihara or something like that.

   It was a disturbing trend. Would other VAs got their careers axed because of being a porn star? Yukiho Hagiwara's first VA [Yurika Ochiai] nearly got booted out of the seiyuu industry for otakus who have done some research found out about her nude modelling past.

   Would we see such incidents in the future?

   You know, there are characters some freaks obsess about, that has been voiced by those who did hentai. Yoko Hikasa(Mio, K-ON!), Eriko Nakamura(Haruka, IDOLMASTER)...

   Hikasa's virginity is debatable, lol, but I'm pretty sure Nakamura isn't since she's already past 30. So it all really just comes down to circumstances, such as one anti-x seiyuu's thread on 2ch somehow picking up interest at the right place at the right time, and causing everyone to perform CSI work on their target. haha

    I did some more "research".

    That former VA I mentioned, Eriko Ishihara, who did Atsuko in Diamond Dustdrops WAS a porn star. If anyone who is in contact with 2ch people, you may request what she might do today or something.

    The trouble she got is that she is doing voice acting work while doing AV under a different name, at ABOUT the same time. Just a side job.

    So, then, the lesson is, if you are an AV idol and want to join a mainstream industry, leave the AV industry completely. So, if for example, Sora Aoi finally decides to become a seiyuu [an Eroge seiyuu, for the most part], she must retire from AV now.

    I think Yurika Ochiai did return to gravure for a while after the revelations about her former career, but she never did nude again, as far as I am concerned.

    But then, there was this Yuko Miyamura scandal...and Asuka, ehem, Yuko, was an amateur porn star before becoming a seiyuu...then the Haruhigate scandal of 2011...

    I dont really care. If its their way of making money then its their business. Its not their fault that obsessed fans hold them to high standards. They dont have to obey those standards.
