Seriously what the fuck funimation, Why take down some of the videos so you can force me to go to youtube to watch some anime (which will have commercial. Whats worst is that they made me use the english titles to find them (THE FUCKING ENGLISH TITLES). It sounds shitty when its called something like "He Is My Father"/"So You Can't Play H" And it sounds cooler when called something like " Kami Nomi Zo Shiru Sekai"/"Onii-chan no Koto nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne!!" Now I wish all the dub company would go out of business and stop ruining my anime (and stop shoving ads down my throat. Fuck dubs and fuck the dubbing companies dubbing them.

Don't you think I already know that? Animes that funimation dubbed usually leads to hulu (which is worse) or a shit video player cause they took down the good ones.

Lol, so you are watching dub anime while complaining that they are using stupid english title for them instead of the original title? They are english dub so obviously you search for a Japanese title it will leads you to a Japanese dub which you wont want.
Why the need of opening a new thread and QQ/bitch all over. What Funimation did is already done and final, get over it and move on.

I do think that FUNi has some legitimate problems, like fluctuating between whether they want close or more liberal translations and subs, and not having much in the way of extras on disk releases (or having commentary by the dub actors, which I think is a horrible phenomena).
However I don't really find any of the problems listed here to be very pertinent, and to be fair more people than FUNi are offenders when it comes to lackluster extras for R1 disk releases (the only ones who I feel avert that is Aniplex USA and NIS America).

Funimation always does dubs in the sense that they make it so that someone who speaks primarily English would say something. The times they take liberties is usually with humor as all Japanese puns, which makes up most of their humor, doesn't work at all in English. Instead they have to create new jokes from scratch. Remember: any change to the script were approved by the Japanese licensors themselves.
Extra bonus features depend on the Japanese company. Sometimes they will give Funimation a bunch of extra features and allow them to use them, but sometimes they won't get any or not be allowed to due to the fear of re-importation from the Japanese.

By "good ones" I assume you mean illegal streams that doesn't give anything back to the creators of the anime you are currently watching. If you are really against giving the people who create the products you love money so they go bankrupt and no longer create anything, then torrent the stuff you watch directly from the fansubber. Otherwise shut up and deal with the one or two ads you might get from watching a legitimate free episode of a show you happen to enjoy.

I can totally understand dubs being worked around to be more accessible. A dubs is inherently less accurate of a format than a subtitle, so dubs should focus on what they do best, which is being accessible to a foreign audience.
I'm more concerned about the quality of the subtitle. Subtitles are already a less accessible and less easily consumed format than dubbing, so I think they should just focus on their strength of being as accurate as possible. However with FUNi (and others like Sentai Filmworks) the quality of the subs and their level of accuracy is variable. Sometimes the subtitles have translations which are rather liberal, which I feel defeats the point of subtitles as it is dubs which should be privy to more liberal translations, as they are the more consumable format to begin with.
This is more specifically my problem.

I rarely have problems with subtitles from Funimation or Sentai Filmworks. The only time I really did was when they didn't do that good of a QA for the Clannad season 1 part 1 subtitle track, but I got it exchanged for the better subtitled version.

srsly dude support the official release by buying it. if you can't because you want current anime then too bad so sad.
i'm more of a sub guy anyways, and like a lot of other people i started on dubs.
