     I don't completely disagree with the OPTIMISTIC IDEOLOGY of what you're saying. In a perfect world with perfect humans porn wouldn't be more of a negative than it is a positive. But then again in a perfect world most wouldn't imagine porn being there. Which probably says alot. I get the idea of what your saying but that idea takes alot of faith in humanity. Here world...here is internet porn. Now be healthy and be safe. Don't help to infect hundreds of millions with disease, addict people, make people try overly dangerous things, desensitize people until the eventually think sex with children isn't bad, aid in child prostitution, make whores out of millions, give people an interest in drawings of children to masturbate to x), give men ED, increase divorce, adultery, animal sex, poop eating. I could do this all day.

     Idealistically your point makes some sense but when you actually see what happens in reality, statistically every bad thing in the world has skyrocketed in our new internet porn age. Maybe you could argue none of these increases have anything to do with porn. But I think that would be a hard argument.

     I somewhat agree with the idea of what you're saying, but I compared it to nukes because saying, here world take porn and be safe, is like saying, here world takes nukes and be safe. Nuclear warheards are ok for everyone to have if they just approach it in a safe and healthy way. Correct parenting and guidance will keep nukes healthy for everyone in the world to own.

     Porn doesnt do this. People with fantasies made up in their minds create ideas for porn. Porn isnt just the reason a lot of these subcultures are made. It stems from multiple peple having the same fascination with different aspects of exloring their sexuality. Porn doesnt invent these outragous and some dangerous ideas in individuals. In fact a lot of people have urges and then find videos showing that they are not the only person aroused by a certain idea. People are just as much to blame, if not more so, by how they act in regards to what they see in porn. Child porn, for instance, is a media issue, not 100% a porn issue. All over the world there are cultures that for years have married off young girls and used women for prostitution regardless of age. This isnt a new concept. For centuries child sexual abuse has been around. It isnt right, but it isnt something new and it only seems to be growing larger with technology and media such as anime and magazines like Vogue that put girls in mature situations and outfits. Porn, by no means, is to completely blame. Again, a lot of certain porn is made by people who have interest in it.

     Also, some women like younger men and vice versa. That is how things have always been. We are a media based world. Just because something seems so available now because of it does not mean interest was not taken in it previously or even curiosity.

     I think I can answer both of your arguments at once.
     Ichi summarizing your point I think what you're saying is this..Porn doesn't cause bad things, it's the bad in people that cause bad things. That is my nuclear warheads point. Because there is bad in people, porn gives these people a platform and opportunity to share and influence with their bad. Sure absolutely people already have had bad in them and bad things have always happened. So even if porn didn't cause the bad because it was already there, it excites it and arouses it and gives them better easier opportunities to practice something which they otherwise may not be able to or may think themselves out of had they not found like minded individuals. Like with nukes there is already bad in people that when they get bullied they want to blow up their school. But because the technology is not available for any random picked on kid to do this..most school aren't blown up. So we don't have to debate whether porn is the cause of bad things. Just its ease of access to the world is enough to do considerable damage. Too much anything doesn't do any good. And to say that most people will watch porn and treat hyper sexuality in safe and healthy doses is unrealistic and hasn't happened yet. In fact porn has only gotten more and more hardcore over the years and has seduced more and more viewers.

     Ok I'll agree with you porn isn't bad people are bad. But because of porn, bad people can become worse people and with porn so easily available its easier to influence not bad people, into bad people and overtime with the lighter things don't get them off anymore, they continue down the road.

     Your point is the same point when people say..

     "guns don't kill people, people kill people."

     True enough.

     My point is:

     Yes guns don't kill people, people kill people. But when alllll people have guns, more people get killed by more people. This is probably the most basic of human nature logic.
