I decided to organise a day out for me and Merry and I wanted to think of something special for us to do together. After much deliberation I decided upon taking her on a picnic. I thought I would keep it a secret from her and just told her that I’ll pick her up at 10. She seemed puzzled but agreed to go along with it anyway.
A few days later I arrive at her house and find her still asleep in bed. I decide to let her sleep for a while because she looked so cute lying there. After sitting in the lounge reading for a while a sleepy looking Merry finally emerges from her room still dressed in her pajamas.
She sleepily apologises for keeping me waiting but I don’t mind so I let her go off and get changed.We then head off for the park and set up our picnic, we found a perfect place on the grass under a big tree and lay out our things. It’s a beautiful day with a few clouds in the otherwise blue sky, there’s a slight breeze that rustles through the trees. Merry sits there smiling with the breeze blowing through her hair and I just admire how beautiful she is.
We enjoy our day in the sun and she says that next time it’ll be her turn to treat me to a day out somewhere, as long as she can wake up on time!Posted 8 months ago # -

I'm not going to let you win by default just yet, I have just had a bit of delay but my entry is almost complete.
Now the trouble is that I have an appointment in 10 minutes. I'll make my entry when I'm back. I pardon in advance if it drags out, I don't know if that appointment will take 40 minutes or 3 hours... But hopefully the former.

We had to get up early in the morning to prepare our part for the picnic later that day.
She wasn't a early bird this day so I decided to prepare the breakfast while I gave her a few more minutes. Turns out that the sandman was doing his trickery this morning as these few minutes turned into half an hour. Of course as we had a time to keep I had to go check on her, turns out that she only got halfway before those four hours of sleep caught up to her.We eventually managed to get the morning going and our preparations done. It has been a while since we met the others, it could be interesting to catch up. Kuroko herself seems to be looking forward to it, although I worry that she's not getting excited for the sake of the food...
We finally started the picnic at the mid of the day amongst the cherry trees. They are quite a sight in their full bloom, and thankfully so was the food. But, as expected, she wasn't getting excited for the food... But that's nothing out of the ordinary. All in all it was quite a fabulous day and we all had an enjoyable time. However I do question my decision of climbing trees for the sake of photography...
