Sony has agreed to acquire Gaikai for roughly $380 million, becoming the first big video game company to snatch up a cloud gaming service.
So perhaps no more PS4 :/ What's your thought?

Steam is pretty sweet. Can't wait for the summer sale to start.
this duth not bode well.
But it's not like we didnt all see this coming eventually.
I don't think it means the end of console development for Sony,
if anything it might booster the ps3 and possibly ps4 what with instant access to games.
I hate what gaming has become.
The only way to fix things is the death of big publishing companies like EA.

You might as well go to a PC and pirate everything except for stuff from small gaming houses as the PS4 is nothing more then a low end PC that has been castrated.
It's main CPU is less powerful then the 720 actually 4 times less and maybe even the WiiU.
Personally, I don't consider "contards" to be gamers... so this is a good move. Whatever kills "console" "gaming" faster can only be considered A Good Thing.
Play Crysis 2 on a 2880x900 monitor at 60 FPS and then maybe I'll consider calling you a gamer.

I'll just be over here drinking and playing Call of Duty on my PS3 while you be hatin'

Or you could play a good game.

The banning of used games would be the death of the console as the fact you can sell or rent games is the big selling point for me.It's also why I don't usually pirate console games.
If they make the equivalent of Steam for consoles I think people would gladly switch to it.

The console DRM historically is not as annoying as PC DRM.
A game does not become worthless the moment I open the box and I can sell or trade it.

Heh. Enjoy your low player cap, contard.
I don't really think console gaming will ever truly "die". it might go through a low point where it becomes unpopular like it did in the early 80's before the nes came out. maybe it needs to collapse to be reborn again.

This needs to happen across the board the PC side also needs a good shaking out and the death or breakup of some giants.
Companies like EA are the cancer killing PC gaming.

No joke, I feel really bad for you. You'll never get to experience 128-player Battlefield 3. :(

PC gaming all but died for a while, but the great thing about the pc is it's much easier for small companies to do awesome things. I doubt minecraft would have ever been made if not for the freedom of developing for the pc.
