At question is the fact of whether or not you really own your computer, cell phone etc and if you can sale it even if you paid for it.
I say if you bought it you own it and you can resell it.
The fact that some copyright holders think this is disputable makes my trigger finger itch.

Plus I can build a better Mac then what they offer if I wanted to run OSX though I usually run Linux and use windows for games.
Still looking at why Omega watches sued Costco if I ever get one as a gift I will destroy it with a high powered rifle round it and put it on youtube.

I find it hard to understand why I wouldn't be able to sell something that I've bought.Right now there is are issues if you're selling something like a computer on ebay.
But what is at stake is whether or not first sales applies to items made abroad which is just ludicrous as it does not matter where it's made.

Most of the suits are over people buying an item sold much cheaper in another country and then selling it in the US which I do not see as even being an issue.
There is nothing wrong with circumventing an artificially inflated price so long as the item is still paid for.In short it's legalese interpretation of the law and that some companies are too greedy for their own good.
Personally I think companies that are like that do not have a right to exist.Posted 11 months ago # -

the folly of capitalismIn communism there would be one government approved manufacturer who did a shitty job and you had no choice. Seriously in Romania Grocery stores had parishes, you had one per region, they do a bad job? dealwithit.gif.
With capitalism you give your business to the one who treats you best and he has to do a good job or you give money to his competition.
Forbidding someone from selling something they bought is a violation of free market, not the incarnation of it.
