You might as well look upcoming list of Japanese Drama shows here.

I watched the first 2 episodes of ATARU for the sake of hearing Jiyuu e Michizuke. It's ok- the premise would suggest that it would have a story, but I didn't get that from what I saw. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing either actually. Chiaki Kuriyama stars in it if that's any initiative to watch.
This is the second theme Shiina Ringo did for a drama that her did musical plaything has starred in. I hope this trend keeps up just to keep the Ringo releases consistent.

My number one, bar none, all time favorite drama: Trick (Jdrama)
Rapidly becoming my second favorite: Joseon X-Files: Secret Book (Kdrama)
Historical dramas:
These three were my introduction to Korean historical dramas.
Emperor Wang Guhn (Kdrama)
Dawn of the Empire (Kdrama)
Age of Warriors (Kdrama)Damo - Undercover Lady Detective (Kdrama)
Jumong (Kdrama)
Kingdom of the Winds (Kdrama)
The Legend: The Story of the First Kings Four Gods (Kdrama)
(I really liked The Legend. It has a Lord of the Rings vibe to it)Musashi (Jdrama)
Comedy/drama:
Akihabara@DEEP (Jdrama)
Hanayome wa Yakudoshi (Bad Luck Bride) (romantic comedy drama) (Jdrama)
Gokusen (Jdrama)
Sexy Voice and Robo (Jdrama)
Dragon Zakura (Jdrama)
Bengoshi no Kuzu (Scum Lawyer) (Jdrama)
What's Up Fox (romantic comedy drama) (Kdrama)
Evasive Inquiry Agency (Kdrama)Dramas:
Sailor Fuku to Kikanjuu (Sailor Suit and Machine Gun) (first couple of episodes are comedic, then turns deadly serious) (Jdrama)
H.I.T. (Homicide Investigation Team) (Kdrama)
Goong - Imperial Household (Kdrama)
Powerful Opponents (Kdrama)
Qiao's Grand Courtyard (Qiao's Family Mansion) (Cdrama)I've seen most of these in their entirety, the others I seen enough to know I want to see the entire series.
