  2. I love this thread. Please post more! I'm definitely going to try stuff in some time.

First of all, is there any kitchen utensil you'd recommend, before trying to do anything? I think it's the most important part. At least for me, since I'll have to buy pretty much everything.

    A spoon

  4. Vegio, I assume the following:
    Some large bowles
    A mixer
    Baking shapes/mold
    An oven!

And that's about it.. You'll probably have most, except a mold.
Making the ingredients and stuff is usually fairly easy. But our oven always seems to mess up..

Now that you're in Ireland, I'd recommend a bottle of alcohol.

Ill elaborate on this more later, but not all sweets require molds or mixers. Sometimes not even an oven.

  9. Yeah, that's the thing. If you could start with things that don't require a mixer, for the time being, I'd be enormously grateful :3

And hi, long time no see <3
I hope it's going fine, on your side of the world.

  14. I have a question, have anyone tried to bake in a toaster oven before?

Posted 11 months ago # Quote
  15. I have.
It's difficult because it's really small and there's no temperature dial so you basically have to eyeball it, and if you try bake something that barely fits it (like a cupcake) there's a high chance that it'll be burnt on the top as it comes really close to the heat lamps.

  16. So, small scale ones like cookies and bars are more doable.
I tried it before and maintaining the heat is a problem.

That's not going to happen, for a number of reasons! I'm still making pizza, though. Right now there's some dough in the fridge.

  19. Soooo~ I haven't updated this in a while, but today I made pizza and I figured I would share it here instead of filling up the YDT about it. Also, this is mainly here because I took step-by-step pictures.

    ----------------------------------------------

First, prep your dough. Make sure you mix it well so that everything is incorporated and there are no lumps or white.

Then, shape your dough. I like tall, round pizza. I don't know about other people, but this is best pizza to me. Especially ones that obviously lack a defined edge.

    Be generous with your sauce.

Spread your sauce evenly over the pizza, not going all the way to the edges.

Time for some oodles of noodley cheese! I like lots of cheese, so lets just throw a whole bunch on there. The cheesier, the better.

    Add some peperoni.

I like olives, so add those.

Some wormy green peppers on top of make it more colorful..

    And voila, pizza.
