Why Russia being eliminated? i tot the goal difference they had far surpass Greece? both of em have 4pts, and 2nd spot should be decided by number of goal.

I've never heard of this rules (sry not avid football fans), then what will happened if tonight, Germany win against Denmark, and Netherlands win Portugal?
German will be on top...what will happened to the 3 team?

Or they use goal difference. The "result between two teams" as a tiebreaker is only used in simpler situations.

I'm not too comfortable with addressing the whole america beside US and Canada as latin america, but oh well.
I mean, when it comes to football they don't play all together, don't they? Isn't there a ... south american competition where Mexico can't join or something?
