'At a certain point, I've just concluded that - for me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that - I think same-sex couples should be able to get married. And I continue to believe that this is an issue that is gonna be worked out at the local level, because historically, this has not been a federal issue, what's recognized as a marriage'

My analysis:
Big effing deal. He didn't say that he'd do anything, more important, he DID SAY that it's a 'local level' (understand STATES RIGHTS ISSUE) solution.
Dick Cheney, one of the DEMs worst persons of the world said exactly the same thing years ago

pandering? that's a pretty risky stance to take for "pandering". plus the president is not the king, he can't make laws.
