  1. * continued idea from HERE

YES!! - We have seen them many times in anime....those weapons (we wish we had) or even admired.

Those babes, psychos, manly men, military, assassins supporting those BIG Guns that we all know are impossible to do (irl), let alone carry, with - "one arm" - as well as shoot - "one handed" - as well...

However, to kick off the Range firing, you can find the anime usage of guns in animu/anime films - HERE

After getting yourself semi-acquainted, respectfully, with some of the weapon types, its time to really discuss them...

So, here's the thread for the Gun-Otaku in some of us, where we can discuss the types used, be they prototypes, fakes, modified, real and imaginative of the weaponry used in Anime, Anime films and related.

  2. I'm not really a fan of guns but they are a few anime which caught my attention to them:

Trigun: There are couple of episodes which showcase Vash being able hold his ground with his trusty six-shot shooter. I like those.

Full Metal Alchemist: Riza Hawkeye. When she shows up, it reminds viewers that the show is also part of militaristic genre. Riza uses an array of handguns and at least one sniper rifle (from what I remember) and I admire the detail put into them

    Cowboy Bebop: Spike. Nuff said.

Noir: I haven't finished this series but I like the shoot-outs in it.

Ghost in the Shell: "We're gonna snipe this cracker from the other side of the city" "What?"

It's weird seeing Madoka Magica and Nichijou on that list. The guns in Nichijou were just used for shits 'n' giggles. Although once again I like the details of the weapons Mami and Homura use, especially the "flint muskets" if I think that's what they're called.

Except if you may have noticed, Vash's Six Shooter, is no ordinary popgun, it morphs into a Matter conversion particle accellerator canon.
Like a portable version of the Death Star.
