I went through all of High School without cursing. I'm not entirely sure why. I just didn't want to sully myself by using profanity. I remember saying some bad words when I was little. Back then, I didn't know what the words meant or that they were bad. Thinking back on it made me feel shameful. Maybe that's why I abstain from cursing.
The word "cunt" is delicious. Almost as delicious as the thing it names. Unlike most Englishmen, who are able to use it as any part of speech, I use it sparingly so as to increase the impact.
I do swear,but not very often.

One of the things that bugs me about topics like this is that what most people term "swearing" or "cursing" is generally just vulgarity / obscenity, which is something else completely, just as they are two different things as well.
These days a lot of my... "coarse" language, at least in private, is a bunch of random, nerdy, in-joke gibberish swearing taken from Youtube Poop videos.
It is also something else when you can swear with finesse,... Like with a few choice words in another language, with your usual dialect.

i just don't swear in front of my parents. it might be a bit weird since i'm 25 now, but it's hard to get rid of that filter that i've been developing since junior high.
