   Because this is Sankaku and we all love crazy & bizarre stories. This story apparently has legs... 4 of them infact...and a Tail.

   OBAMA ATE A DOG once. He has eaten Dog Meat according to his own words in the book "Dream of My Father" The quote: “With Lolo I have learned how to eat small green chili peppers raw with dinner, plenty of rice, and away from the dinner people I was introduced to dog meat, tough, snake meat, tougher, and roasted grasshopper.”

   This story is trending mainly because some 'bright soul' in the Obama re-election war room thought they could smear Mitt Romney (Republican challenger) with a years old tale about how on a vacation The Romney's strapped their dogs kennel to the roof of their car (again a tale from YEARS AGO...like 2008) - But has Romney or ANYONE running for Prez ever Eaten a Dog?... Obama alone holds that honor.

Dogs are family pets!

   Cardinal rule of P.R. Don't eat Dolphin's, Kitty's or Puppies - This is seriously repugnant to most American's and PETA would be burning the White House down if it was ANY other Prez.

   So....I will take your " *Yawn " into consideration but it's kind of UNHEARD of in America...especially when you try to attack a political opponent over Dog Treatment- lol.

    Actually, I was born and raised in American and have never eaten dog =O

    I love dogs as pets, but it just doesn't really bother me in this case. He didn't do it in America, and it's not like he tortured one. I find the practice of eating guinea pigs more disgusting for some reason =[
