Gee,that is a good guess. But most people are saying it's the Sega Megadrive AKA Genesis going by the colors and the shape of Pururut's emblem looks like a genesis controllor.

Could be the Dreamcast too.
Or going a bit farther back, the 32X.
I see that filthy horsebird is in; I do hope they brush up on enemy attacks, as well as the enemies

It would be nice if CH incorporated the plotted blowback system that was introduced in Attouteki Mugen Souls.
The problem in Mk2 was that if enemies got close, there's no way to push them back unless you use certain abilities, which usually only affects one target and the blowback distance is so pitiful that it hardly matters. This means certain doom especially with regards to those broken Colosseum bosses.
Also, lol at the Noire tsundere line cap and White Heart's Famicom colors.
So, someone thought that Green Heart's outfit needed to become even skimpier in the new game. Somehow (goddess powers, probably), the new black HDD suit stays in place, even though Vert's white outfit was pushing it. Cosplayers beware!

Haha, I doubt very many cosplayers would be able to pull off someone as oppai-licious as Vert.
But anyway the game looks like it's getting better and better. Can't wait to hear opening music and see the game trailer.
Nobuo's providing the music. And a cameo in a summon, so I hope.

Chronologically speaking, the new Vert costume is the older one (Xbox). Vert must've felt that the side mount was hard to manage, so it changed to an upper with the 360 upgrade.
If not Uematsu, Takahashi Meijin would be a good cameo summon. IMO, he shouldn't have been limited to just the opening warning in mk2, since he was also the stuff of legend back in his heyday, with the arcade use super trigger finger and his now-obsolete "Play games for only an hour a day" advice.

Hold on, I thought Neptunia V takes place in a parallel world, so the Vert in this game would be a different character (in addition to representing a different console).

Parallel world? I'm pretty sure V's premise is supposed to be a look at Game Gyoukai's past.
Anyway, even if this Vert and the present one are different individuals, they're still pretty much the same creature, costume design aside.
Since the black-suited, more revealing Vert is most likely the Xbox rather than Xbox 360, it makes me think about whether her character will be slightly different, being an older game system.
One costume change I like (along with human Noire's bare midriff) is Blanc's HDD suit. The red part at the bottom makes it look like she's wearing Japanese bloomers... Here's hoping she uses 80s slang and references the old, campy NES advertisements.
That's a viable thought. The personality will likely change with the latter incarnation, but the design was left intact since Green Heart's look is an established avatar now.
White Heart's color scheme references none other than the good ol' red and white Famicom. The bloomer design was a nice touch.
The marketing of games and stuff in Japan are markedly different from those in the West, so the JP version will be more likely to lean on that part.
Though it might turn over properly in the US localization assuming that NISA doesn't slack off on research.
Arfoire appears to be returning, seemingly as one of the evil 'seven sages'. Like with Vert, I don't care too much for the change of costume this version of her is wearing. Magic the Hard/CFW Magic from Neptunia Mk2 made a more interesting villain to me, both visually and in attitude. I even like Linda/Underling more than Arfoire.

The story people have translated in that Neptune from MK2 is sent to a parallel universe - not a time warp - where Pururut is the Goddess of Planetneptune, and where Noire is not a goddess. I believe there is artwork of the world somewhere and it looks nothing like MK2.

Now I'm reminded of Majora's Mask... I'd prefer the absence of a time loop within this other world, though.
Yay, Warechu's gonna show!
Too bad NISA will likely call him Pirachu again.
Looks they demo the new jumping feature like can do in the Atelier series. I notice that Compile Heart is borrowing a lot of ideas from Gust.
