    Andy Griffith passed away this morning at his home in North Carolina. He was 86.

    He is gone, but will never be forgotten.

    As long as television exists, we will be able watch him go fishing with Opie, and outwit criminals, entertaining us all the time.

  9. He was also in The Poseidon Adventure, one of my teacher's favors movies. My teacher basically has a mansion, so he had a big screening of the film at his house in Borgnine's memory.

    Thats one of mine as well... always watch - The Poseidon Adventure - every New Years Eve right before the countdown to midnight. - its a tradition now.

    Have to watch it (about) 15 minutes til and it syncs very well with the timing...
