Earlier, I walked past a lady that was saying "Free samples" and giving something out. Whatever she was giving out looked colorful so as I walked past her I took some. She seemed puzzled. When I looked down at what I took, it was fake nails. Y'know, those plastic stuff for girls to put over their nails. I felt so embarassed. So I ran with the nails and didn't look back. Or you could make props for your figures with them, just take a file, clippers, & a pair of needle nose pliers and start beink creative.
Or better yet keep a few in your wallet like you do with that old condom you never get around to using....
They are perfect bandaids for finger nails that split because you've been puttin off cutting them and then a crack or chip happens then it splits down into the cuticle.
If you catch it in time and put a fake nail on it before it it tears into your cuticle, you will suffer less pain & distraction, before it starts to bleed. You can trim and remove it later when you get home.
If you're self conscious aboot it cover it up with a regular band aid or paint it something pwitty and less noticeable.

I wrote a swell application a while back to download entire galleries from pages that weren't supported by most gallery download parser thingies. Unfortunately, the UI is rather vague, and I never wrote any instructions or comments in the code describing how to use it, so I'm not sure how to use it anymore.
Sometime I should rewrite it using more advanced connection strings to avoid the timeout and partial download errors I would get with it back when I wrote it.

oh right, I forgot about the tournament :| can't you ask your instructor to only spar with other experienced members? That would do great, even if you'd have to focus. Or perhaps, getting hit a few times would help you to clear your thoughts. Ah, I don't know, some people can focus better after being hit, others become depressed after being... beaten. Perhaps I'm a masochist - you'd better not listen to me.
