  3. It's nothing special. I was walking the dog yesterday afternoon, and I saw this little goose acting strange in the water. Had a hard time swimming properly, soon after spotted it had 1 really strange looking leg. So I tried to lure the goose with some bread, but it was way to scared and stayed away from the edge. Since I just didn't want to leave it alone, I came back later that day, late in the evening. Ducks, goose etc always end up sleeping on the banks near a stream/river/pond. So I hoped to find it somewhere in the high grass. After some searching I saw it wobbling away from me, so I lunged in and grabbed the little goose. Took it home, and placed it in a box (the image) and gave it some grass. Had to call the animal ambulance, which picked it up end of the evening. I seemed like some bad kids caught the goose with their fishing line, and just cut the line off, ending all around the little gooses leg. They said it wasn't hard to remove, and would be replacing the goose back here soon after.

    /le end/

nice,...but you dust deprived a predator of an easy meal,... I just hope it doesn't go after someone's puppy or kitty nao.

this is what happens when a human interferes with the natural order of nature.

  6. There are no predators for goose around here.
They get shot here each year again. The largest predator in the Netherlands is probably the fox.

  10. I don't know who did it.
And honestly, it's inevitable with some bad fishers. I remember my dad tried to show me how to cast the rod yeaars back. He ended up throwing it towards a Coot. He had to cut the line.
We still make jokes about it if we talk about fishing.

But I grew to hate sport fishers over the years. I've seen kids kill fish, bringing them home and making a mess of the surrounding area. Just last week there was this group of guys who had set up a tent and everything.. I was walking the dog, and they were yelling something at me, I believe it was: 'Look at that idiot'. But there's a bag of thrash laying around somewhere there now.

Catch a fish, be happy, carefully remove the hook and put it back.

I also remember speaking to this guy, he said he had put some 20 exotic catfish in the stream near our home. If they can survive here, they will compete with the native species, and most certainly end up winning. Aaah people..

  11. You're a good person, Artwork.

    Which makes me feel guilty...
I made some pork pandemonium pizza with bacon, sausages, ham, mushrooms and artichokes on tomato sauce. It's called "Capricciosa", capricious, and most of the places usually serve it differently. Some divide it in 4, where every slice only holds one ingredient. Ham, artichokes, olives... wieners, too. I put everything strategically, instead. First, tomato sauce. Then, a bed of bacon. Sprinkle mushrooms and artichokes, and add some pepperoni bits all over the place. That way, with every bite you take something different, and can taste everything subsequently instead of having to wait, or having to cut different slices from the whole thing.

Well, either way, that pig was really delicious. My uncle is a hero of pigs. Poor goose was saved probably because it doesn't taste as good as pork. Pork is delicious. Violence against animals is to be condemned, but it's okay if you mercifully kill a pig without having it experience any pain, right? 'cause pork is delicious. That pizza was delicious. I called it "THE PORK TRIUMPH". It was nice because my friend was complimenting every piece, until he got to the pork triumph. He said everything else paled and disappeared, in comparison. Oh god, that bacon.

I would think that he could eat it. But perhaps it would make his Jewish blood all volatile and dangerous.

How does the smell from one pack of gum encompass your entire room?
