why - I actually enjoyed having finals. If you do good on them the instructor usually gets off your ass and harasses those who didn't do very well.

Today, on the way to school, in my best attempt to avoid people and traffic lights, I walked a way I'd never been before. There I met a kitty, like none other (that I have met).
He was grey with green eyes and a short, stubby tail. When I saw him grooming himself on the road, I took my chances at petting him. He ran up and could not move his head enough in my hand. When I tried to turn and continue walking, he ran in front of me and placed his paw on my shoe.
I'd pet him some more before trying again, at which he chased me and playfully attacked my shoe. The next time I pet him, I said goodbye and despite him trying to follow me, continued walking.
He was so delightful I could have played with him all day, in our own little world. But I had to go to school.
That was the highlight of my day!

Dog just destroyed a new shoe. Not mine or anything. But it's a pretty funny thing. My dad first bought a pair which ended up being to small after 2 or 3 times of using. (Like wtf?) So he couldn't bring em back to the store, and had to sell them on something like ebay for half the price. He bought a new pair soon after. The thing is, me my brother and my mom all were against him buying those shoes, they are ugly, expensive and just.. ughh. But my dad was all like 'These shoes are specially made for walking bla bla bla'. Told him to buy a pair of sneakers if he wants some good walking shoes, with decent design but noo..

Also, If we do better on our final than on one of our previous tests, then my professor will drop our lowest test score and count our final twice. So if I get an A on my final, then I won't have to worry about the annoying B I got on my first test bringing don't my grade anymore.

This sure has been a down week. I've been sick for quite a few day but I'm finally starting to feel a little better at least.
Now the question is if checking what I have missed during this time makes me feel better or worse.

today I was talking with my aunt and she tells me her son who's uhm... 2nd year in high sch- ah! 16 years old, yeah. What was I saying ag- oh.
Snap. Taking a nap wasn't exactly the best idea.
long story short, this cousin has a terrible teacher that covers many classes and she forgets what she teaches in every class, so she drops by and says they're gonna have a test on a subject she didn't cover with that class yet. Class complains, she gets mad because they 'fake' ignorance and lowers the scores blah blah blah. We all know how it goes, we all had our terrible teacher.So my cousin one day can't stomach her anymore, and he calls her a buffoon. He asks "are you even sure you got your degree", "you don't know anything at all", "you're just a buffoon". Class goes in an uproar, supporting him because this teacher really sucks, and she threatens the students mentioning another test soon.
He clearly went overboard, but he's clearly my cousin. Our grandfather would be so proud he had the courage to stand against the oppressor, though his choice of words was somehow... too much.
Ah, I remember my days in high school~
Uhm, anyway. Apparently this is just one of the many cases happening all over italy. School is a complete mess, and most of the teachers have lost their passion (if they had any to begin with). Students follow, having lost all faith in school and in finding a job related to their studies after they're done. Everyone is giving up on what they do, here. For a while we've had a hot streak of suicides, because people lost their job in their 40s, 50s, and were cut off from job hunting because of their age and of their past, experiences. Overqualified in what they did, too old to learn in another place, not wanting to bend their head and do stages for months with a pay that doesn't even cover the travelling expenses when they have a family to sustain.
I don't know about you lot here and there, but every day things become worse, in this country.

I bought new socks yesterday, put on a new pair today only to find one had a hole in the toe. How does that even happen, they're new socks!
