  5. Welp, I found out why I was unable to access the early character creation in Tera the other day. Early character creation ended at 10 a.m. PDT on the 17th (seems like an odd time to end it IMO), and I wasn't able to pre-order Tera until after that time. I would have been able to make it in if the credit card company wasn't stopping my purchase that morning.

Hopefully, this means there will be no problems with me getting into the early open beta today.

  6. If I can shower, shave, brush my teeth, and get dressed before I drive to school, other people can put their damn makeup on before getting in front of me, going 15mph under the speed limit, and swerving all over the road in a busted-ass Pontiac Gran Prix while attempting to use the rear-view mirror as a vanity.

Math test in an hour and a half = bad mood.

Fortunately, Tera is waiting for me when I get back to the apartment today, so I'm not too bad.

Let all hope those cookies weren't infested with parasites.

what did you expect from ,.... nvm.

Got back from another couple interviews,... nothing postive. Almost got clipped by some bimbo late for work, she was weaving in & out of lanes and flying down the boulevard quite fast. Sooner or later she's gonna get a piece of some poor bastard. Since more than half of the drivers in CA don't even bother using their turn signals. They just go where ever they please.

Apparently there's bad drivers everywhere today. Some idiot nearly caused a collison with the bus I was on right in the middle of crossroads today when he decided to swerve in front. Bus driver had to slam on the brakes hard.

People stopped caring some time ago about signs and speed limits and right-of-way.

I had some dumb ass in a Toyota Camry pull right in front of me without looking to see if it was clear the other day.
She should be glad I saw her as I was driving a full sized Dodge truck and I would have ripped through her like piece of tin foil if we had collided.

Not quite as bad as not seeing a green double-decker bus like the idiot I was talking about.

True I think some people don't even watch the road when they're driving.

Oddly enough I dread the day they start making cars that can drive themselves as these idiots will use that feature all the but forget to clean the sensors or think it's going to work in all weather conditions including heavy rain or snow.

This is why I hate the lane-change sensors, back-up sensors, and park-assist on cars these days. People cannot maintain simple mechanical problems most of the time, so why do we expect them to maintain those systems? People become far to reliant on them, as well, and do even dumber things as a result when those systems fail.

I have actually heard people raving about how they love the automatic parallel parking feature on their car because "they never learned to do it right." Can't parallel park? You're never driving my car.

Must be a day for annoyance... I spent about half an hour ripping on the company that my Aunt's employer uses for their database. She works at a nursing home, and the joint that manages their software and database decided to update their single, live server a couple nights ago for four hours, rendering the database inaccessible, so no one could look up medication dosing, times, etc, or update charts. This company provides database support for all the major nursing homes within a few hundred miles, so all of them were without their databases as well.

Of course, they refuse to acknowledge that they did anything wrong, despite the fact that running multi-hour updates on your SINGLE, LIVE medical information server is one of the most retarded things you can do, short of running a delete statement on a table with no WHERE clause.

If they were closer than Louisiana, I would nerd rage on their n00b asses so hard they'd go crying back to Keyboarding 101.

  20. Yesterday, the government announced that they'll be making the "Dangerous Dog Bill" a reality and in today's papers, an article was published stating that many dog owners will have no choice but to sell these dogs, abandon them or even put them down since the bill's regulations will make it too expensive to care for the dogs that fall under the bill.

So now all of a sudden it's expensive just because of one bill. Raising these dogs has always been expensive. The action of ignorant owners, which result in the maiming of civilians, has led to this and it shouldn't affect anyone if they were following the rules in the first place. The public's safety is top priority.

I'm not even a dog lover but even I feel sorry for canines they may put killed just because someone wants to save a few bucks which they were supposed to be spending in the 1st place.
