But if he's been eating more sweet food and less savoury stuff, he might have lowered his salt consumption. Salt causes the body to retain water, so cutting it out can lead to weight loss.

Apparently it's something people do in anglophone countries, for I haven't heard or seen anything like that in here. It's true we're part of the third world, but still... it's hard to begin, hmm. And it's quite important, perhaps the most important part of the application so I want to make sure I don't write too many stupid things. Talking is easy, but impressing straight away? Boy, that's hard.
