and for the record these comments DO NOT make Rush a woman hater. You may argue they are inappropriate, or perhaps unhelpful, but the point remains: the policy that would require the general public to PAY for others to use contraception out of wedlock (i.e., "pay for others to have sex!"), and as freely as they want, is MORE abominable than anything said here.

Sorry but I support free contraception for people who otherwise cannot afford it.
it one thing I don't mind seeing my tax dollars spent on.
It really is a case where an once of prevention is worth a pound of cure in fact by cost it's a gram of prevention is worth a ton of cure.BTW I also support the distribution of clean needles and methadone to people with IV drug habits the the cause of preventing the spread of diseases like HIV and hepatitis.

Just giving heroin addicts heroin is a way better solution. I mean if an addict could get heroin legally and cheap(heroin is dirt cheap), he could be a productive member of society.

The way I see it, this is just a sign that population control policies are brewing. Gas is depleting, food supply becoming increasingly tight after threat from climate changes, and there simply isn't enough land for everyone unless we destroy the forest some more.
At the same time, people can sometimes 'accidently' get impregnated and there are people out there who seem to make 5+ kids just to take advantage of the welfare system.
I'm all for safe, childproof sex for everyone, but implementation for this will be a scary shit to do. In which case, the government tends to overspend and the gains will be less compared to spending.
I can't discuss the moral angle right now because I just got home from work and I'm tired as hell.

There is no gas shortage the present prices are almost completely due to speculation.
If there was true shortage they could easily make fuel from coal Germany did this in WWII or from sustainable bio sources corn BTW is one of the poorer feedstocks switch grass,hemp and algae are far superior bio feedstocks.I say this in red because it is an absolute truth.
Personally I feel heads need to literately roll over the present energy price situation.
Now I will agree population control is important we should not be acting like a cancer to the planet.
