I love how parts from one car sometimes will fit another.
My AC went out on my daily driver so I went to the pick a part and found a new AC compressor on a Ford F-150 of all things and it was only was $30 plus my old core
I saved $150.
Both vehicles had a 302 Windsor V8 so it's probably expected some things would interchange.

Ford has pretty good interchange across all models even with the FWD cars as do some GMs.
But six cylinder GMs on the other hand can get weird at times.
While Honda, Izusu and Mitsubishi are rage worthy.I have nothing good to say about the Mitsubishi Cyclone V6.

I love sparrows. They're so small and fluffy and rotund.
I also love that the winner of men's archery in the Olympics managed to beat everyone despite being legally blind. It's so inspirational.

It's an upscaled Dodge Daytona, which were common, and those shared shared various parts, including engine blocks, with some of the K and L platform cars (LeBaron, Rampage, Omni, Charger, etc). Parts are almost literally as common as dirt despite being 28 years old.

I had an Omni at one time it was a good cheap economy car very reliable and would not die.
I gave it to my little sister and then we sold it.
The car I had to fix my present daily driver is a Thunderbird LX.
The ford 302 is an extremely common engine and if I ever need a new trans for example I could get one off an F150,a Lincoln,a Mustang,or even an older Crown Vic.Posted 10 months ago # -
