Egads, somewhere, back at home, I still have a stack of AOL cd's roughly two feet high.
The mailing cases were useful for shipping discs to people, though (until they cheaped out and starting using paper sleeves).

I remember when they used floppies and would I reformat them and use them in my Amiga.

The sound of a dial-up connection will be ingrained with me for life. So many times growing up did I have to hear that god-awful sound. I never had AOL though. We just had a local provider and used Netscape Navigator as our browser.
