I seriously don't know why you keep saying this...
You know, as well as I do, that there are variations of Dubs that are predominate and relative to the country in which it is shown.
All one has to do is search on YT and see those particular dubs themselves...

Western made cartoons: English to Japanese = NoSo why bother looking for dubs?

Depending on the anime, it can 'work' on other languages which doesn't require translating cultural/traditional quirks...
I've watched some anime dubbed on local language, some of it worked pretty well, specially the Gundam series. One of my favorite locally dubbed were Yakitate Japan and School Rumble, it was just that the language really fit in.

rtl2 german program so it was german,there was sailor moon,dragonball,dbz,digimon,yu-gi-oh,one piece,naruto,naruto shippuden and more but i can't remember them all

I've seen "High School of the Dead" dubbed in German as well as "Rosario + Vampire" and the girls still seem pretty sexy!

Well... Usually every country dub the anime, in their own language. Because anime is for little kids that don't know to read... Or simply live in France... Don't know other country that dub everything, except that.

There was a channel back then when I was around 7 that would air dubbed animu such as Koni-chan, Ghost Sweeper Mikami, Sailor Moon, Case Closed, Corrector Yui, Card Captor Sakura, and su~ch. Oh, spanish dubbed, of course.
And nowadays I've watched Adventure Time and Regular show on CN. I prefer orinigals, but I've got to admit I prefer Finn's spanish dubber.Posted 1 year ago # -

man, I watched a lot of shows dubbed in italian.
The ones made in the eighties were really cool, unlike the crappy ones you can get nowadays!
The best one was surely Saint Seiya
they completely changed all the dialogues in italian, making them much more epic than the original!
Just to make an example, if the original was "go away", the italian version was something close to "Surrender the path, Knight!" and it was really, really extremely better because it gave the whole show a much more epic tone. Oh god, I'm getting goose bumps! This thing was epic, literally.damn it, now I feel like watching it again...

dear, sweetheart, I read both the original and the various adaptations. Believe me when I say the original sucked balls. Of course they completely twisted the original tone with the translations, but they made it much more poetic, epic, and overall much more fitting for the anime, the soundtrack, the plot.
This time, it is Masami Kurumada to be so useless he can only write in Japanese at a primary school level, unlike what happens nowadays, where yes, you're right, it's usually the opposite.
oh and by the way, Masami Kurumada sucks at drawing, too. He had the best idea, sure, but...

Yeah, don't you love that Cassius at first can hold Seiya in one hand and later he is shown just a bit taller than him?
I kinda know of Kurumada's bad writing skills, and how he keeps re-using the same characters in different settings over and over again. All side-stories with the writings by somebody else are SO much better. I have obviously not watched the Italian dub so it's good to know more of your opinion.Posted 1 year ago #
