Not from UK, but might as well say something.
They usually smell a lot. Mostly, bad. Due to their diet, probably, but here it... well, it was a few hours ago. When I used to take buses regularly, if you ever found yourself in the same carriage with an indian, even if he were on the opposite side, you'd still smell it, and I assure you it wasn't exactly a pleasure. They mostly buy beers and onions, and clerks are usually taken aback at that! But other than that, there's really little to say. The ones who settled in the area where I live are generally hard working, and are trying to establish themselves acquiring lands and cultivating them. Others can't afford to buy anything, and work for others, most of the time fascist italians who are really close to the mafia and won't pay workers enough, though they're the only ones to still be willing to work in the fields...
Pakis, on the other hand, are unheard of, at least here!

I have no sense of smell so I like Indian people.
The food is atrocious but the people are great. Their English is perfect but their voices are funny. They have a fascinating ancient culture, they work and study hard and obey the law. Couldn't ask for a better immigrant.pakis, not so much. They are so opposite. it's like north and south korea

Indian people are very versatile with their language. Due to their native language, they can master other language easily. I've seen Indian who sell hawker street food and they could speak more than 5 languages. which include english, mandarin and cantonese.
But yes, they stink, i just do not know why. I've been to my indian friend house. Before we went out, i told him to take a bath. Even with all the shampoo and soap, i could still smell his body odor.
And I'm talking about after bath, God help me if they happened to just sweat a lot from physical activity
