I personally would not get Dead or Alve Dimensions, but a lot of us do have it now- including myself.
Why would he get MK ds when he can get MarioKart 7?

I probably won't get DoA. I've never been much of a fighter genre fan. I did tekken on ps1 but that's about it.
Same story for Zelda. I played it on my old gameboy, and sometimes on the Wii. But I never really felt attracted to it, eventhough it is/are really good games.
I'm a little bit skeptic about MK7 since I was thinking on getting All star racing for the Vita.
B&W 2 will be an instant buy
But I'm really looking for something which sets the 3DS apart from the Vita. Though Zelda does kinda give that, yes. Meh. I just like gadgets, lets keep it at that.

Who around here has Mario Kart 7?
I'm getting Mario Kart 7, together with Kingdom Hearts Saturday.
If they ship correctly, which they probably won't, my 3DS XL will arrive Saturday.I'm selling some old stuff, gba games etc, so I'll probably buy another game once I sold everything.

Yes, and since Pokemon is a game you play for a pretty long haul. Atleast I do. It's better without 3D. BUT! I've heard people playing on the 3DS are getting some small, but cool little features or something.
