  1. I'm terrified of accidentally finding a sewer rat in my toilet bowl, always check before I sit down.

Caterpillars. They're tiny and mostly harmless but they freak the fuck out of me. Butterflies as well.

I secretly still dream of becoming a magical girl, forming a contract with a cute furry animal and sprouting wings or something. Which leads me to my third irrational fear, not being of magical girl age anymore. I'm turning 16 soon and fuck I dread it.

    What are yours SanCon?

  2. Oh this thread was at the perfect time!

I can't think of any irrational fears currently.

Though I know of a wish that will never come true... Playing L4D with Mere.

16 is young and within magical age.

  4. Irrational fears?

I have none. All of my fears are rational~

Like my fear of wide open areas, my fear of being away from and losing contact with modern civilization, my fear of sea serpents, my fear of the end of the universe, my fear of insects infesting my brain, my fear of.... I can't think of any more at the moment, but they're all totally rational.

    Impossible wishes?

I have too many to list.

  6. That won't be needed.

Be careful of what you wish for it just might come true.

My fear is some horrible nanny state like in 1984 or demolition man taking over the world.
I think I'd rather even go as far as destroy civilization and have to rebuild it then allow it to take that path.
Police states are an evolutionary dead end as they always rot from within.
But that's a perfectly rational fear an irrational fear I have clowns bug me and maggots gross me out.

My impossible wish I want a starship with a very fast FTL drive 125x c or faster.
Oh and an army of loyal minions.

  8. I'm afraid of bugs, spiders, the dark, retirement homes, old people, and especially heights. I look up at something really tall and get kinda woozy...

  9. It's not all that irrational but I'm terrified someday my anger management issues will take the better of me and I'll hit or hurt one of my loved ones. That's one of the reasons I wouldn't try to have kids even if I could.
By corrolary I have been odious once to my wife (then a mere close friend) and though it seems she pardoned me I am still afraid to face it and I occasionally make nightmares of it.

    As for impossible wishes:

    - I wish I had more energy, enough to make what I feel like I have time for and is worth it.
    - I wish I still had the analysis and concentration power I had at a younger age. Or more.

I have a really dumb and fucked up fear of calling people. If I have to use my phone for whatever reason I freeze up and nearly cry IRL. I hate it :(

Watched Jurassic park one too many times?
Though I do want to build an army of robot raptors or if I ever get some viable dino DNA and cloning equipment make an army of real raptors.

It's one of my favorite movies. I love dinosaurs. That doesn't mean I don't fear them like the gods.

Actually... The Gods are all-powerful compared to you, but to them you are of no interest. To raptors though, you're made out of delicious meat.

You'd need to be afraid of ever wishing something you can't have.

  17. no, because I don't have any irrational fear (hence wishing for one), but since it's rather difficult, the wish is impossible. I mean, I answered both question \o/

and since I can't come up with any irrational fear, I don't know how it would be like, so... <_<

oh wait, sorrior made me remember: syringes. I fucking detest syringes. A syringe is, hands down, the creepiest thing in the whole world.

So, as far as wishes go... to find the love of my life soon~ ?

Wow this sums up my more sane wishes and fears.

  20. I have fears of things in the dark. Not really the darkness itself, but of things in it that I can't see. If I know everything's clear, then I tend to prefer dark areas.

Also small areas. They make me feel like I'm gonna suffocate.

The best one has to be my fear of using proper names, though. For some reason it really creeps me out whenever I have to refer to a person or object by name if anyone can hear me saying it. It really gives me an awful pain in the back of my head and I feel like something bad will happen. I don't know why. It seems to help if I refer to the thing in question by referring to it with its type (movie / person / cat / food / etc) to make the reference less personal.

It's like the difference between answering the question "What are you watching?" with "Iron Man" or "It's the first Iron Man movie."

Or "Who told you about the meeting?" with "Steve told me" or something more like "I heard about it from that Steve person."

Impossible dream? To live long enough yet remain young enough to enjoy more advanced, personal androids and/or genetically modified humans.
