Yeah...give it a try. Actually, I'd give "Demon King Daimao" from Sentai Filmworks (old ADV films) (subbed/dubbed) before "Highschool DXD" if you love "Rosario + Vampire". I would say it's a 'Middle-ground' between the two. There's more than just than panty shots but it's not a Naked as "Highschool DXD".
You mentioned you like the humor and Harem comedy - I'd say this is a good one. There really isn't as much Harem in "H-DxD" because they all get along.
