Blade & Soul. The Chinese Open Beta opened today (if I'm not mistaken). I tried signing up for the Korean OBT a long time ago, but their methods in keeping foreigners out is rock hard. You have to enter a Korean Social Security Number and all. I tried making one with a generator, but to no avail.
Today I scaled the Chinese website. Still a lot of effort, but at least their registration was possible. The hardest part was forging a Chinese phone number. I read up on telephone numbers in China on Wikipedia to figure out how to properly put one together, ha ha.
Anyway, it looks like they've successfully managed to keep me out again this time. I can't get the patcher to work.
I did the manual patching too, but it doesn't change things, unfortunately. Thank you very much for the help though![Edit] I forgot to run the manual patch in AppLocale the first time. It works now. I haven't tried logging in, but I'm going to do that now. I sure hope it works!

I hope you can enjoy it fully, really for me I cant fully enjoy a game if its in another language Im not used to, gonna be hard looking through the menu, talking with players, quest etc, but u will get used to it soon enough.

Oh, I'm not planning to play it much, but I've been really eager to have a first hands-on that isn't the limited version that Atomix released. (Also, that one is bugged for me and won't let me proceed past a very early point in the game.) Besides, an English-language release date has yet to be announced, and to be quite honest, I'm expecting it to be in 2014 or even later despite all the optimists saying it should be 2013.

Im fine with Japanese I've no problem with it, I wonder why LOL. But just that playing online/console game mostly in english, I find it abit hard to get use to diff text on the screen, not that I dont understand them, it just take a little while to get use to it.
