My laptop isn't connecting to the internet properly and it is the laptop as opposed to the router as everything else connects fine.
Sometimes it just takes ages to connect, sometimes not at all, sometimes a page doesn't load fully and videos buffer even on low quality settings.
Can anyone help?

Stick an ethernet cable in there and see what happens. Your on-board wifi is probably fucked, and fast speeds with the cable would confirm it.

Fuck. My laptop doesn't have an ethernet port, I had an adaptor that came with the laptop but I've looked everywhere for it and I have a feeling I chucked it 'cause I didn't know what it was and it was cluttering up space. My past self is an idiot.
