   So I wanted to ask you: Your ideas, thoughts and stuff about this game?

   metal gear rising could be a good hack and slash game. If it hadn't "Metal Gear" in its name. But I guess it's time us old folks just leave the new games alone and quit all that nostalgia, huh. Or maybe not.

   Honestly I can't freaking wait for this game, I've been keeping a close eye on the news feeds ever since it was first announced and every new detail I hear about it just makes me more excited.

   The only worry I've had was when I heard last night that the game is actually being developed by Platinum Games and not by Kojima Productions, but since this game is going to carry the "Metal Gear" name on it's cover i'm sure that Hideo Kojima will make sure it lives up to the franchises's high standards.

   I always liked the character of Raiden so being able to pull off some crazy ninja swordfighting whilst playing through a MGS story i'm sure will be nothing short of awesome. Also, "Revengeance" is quite possibly the coolest made - up word i've ever heard. This is just another game to go on my "day 1 purchase list".

   Just watched the trailer and boy I'm quite disappointed~

   Since it's a metal gear game, I expect a metal gear kind of game.

   it doesn't say "tactical espionage" on it- it says "lightning action game"
   any hardcore Metal Gear fan would be disappointed that they keep Jack around at all. He was a boring shallow character, and turning him into a cyborg didn't make him more fun or interesting.

   Still gonna buy it, and probably going to enjoy it as well.
   It's still fucking gay.

    YOU ALL SHUT THE FUCK UP NOW. KOJIMA MIKAMI SANDWICH WILL BE DELICIOUS AND YOU WILL EAT IT WITHOUT ANY COMPLAINTS.

    The name change is dumb though.

    Also, Neogaf rumored that Platinum Games was developing the title a year ago. Everything that was rumored on that site has been 100% correct for the past year.

    I will never doubt a gaf rumor again.
