welp, actually L'Aquila was demolished and completely crushed because of the local mafia and because they couldn't care less about the proper way to build ... buildings. Yeah, you're probably right though. If there's so little awareness, and if nobody cares, then that's probably what leads mafias to keep investing money in such poor buildings, which are sold at full price to other people, and claim lifes at the first earthquake. When you think about it, the only solid constructions are the ones made centuries ago, when people cared more about doing a proper job than anything else. Or probably, it's because the weak buildings already crumbled...

Today was ok.
I got an essay back in my comp class. Even though I missed the peer review day, I was still able to get a 90 on it. I took a quiz for Japanese and got a 98 on it. I also gave two small speeches for my effective speaking class. I would have gotten a 9.5/10 on both of them, but one was late, so that one was lowered to an 8.5.
