Not all families are the same. My mother would support my decision to not marry someone I don't love, since she didn't have a happy married before.
Why would you stay with someone who you don't love? It would be unfair to both party. My cousin refuse, in fact. I just hope no one would have much power to go against her decision.
On the other note... 10 minutes ago another earthquake happens, various from place to place in intensity. No one seems to care much anymore.

No matter what language you'll learn, for every one person (such as you) who speaks a smattering of the language, there'll be ten native speakers of it who are completely fluent in English and willing to work for 10% of what you're looking to earn.
