I used to think meme was pronounced mem like in memory.
I also thought tsundere was pronounced tsundear. Just dat last syllable was off.
Wasn't it ochinko?

All this bashing of the beautiful german language (at least the one before the last spelling reform) makes me sad. :(
A good thing about German are for example the consequent comma rules and prononciation - it very easy for Germans to pronounce japanese words correctly.
Btw I always pronounced code geass as kod giäß.

Isn't the pronunciation of ´meme´ and ´tsundere´ the same as in german? Like " Ach so?".

They pronounce it peh-ni-su, which doesn't make any sense.

Please don't get fooled. The correct one should be on Pronunciation Book.

In Hungarian, if a compound word is longer than 6 syllables, you need to insert a "-" between the parts. The stem word of "megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért" is "szent" the other parts are affixes.

Great, never knew that. Not very reliable when stretched though. Did not pronounce Bankai, Kurosaki Ichigo or Ryuujin Jakka right

How would you pronounce Simon(name) in Japanese?
シモン
or
サイモン
With the english pronunciation it should be サイモン

I mean what would be the accepted standard. I have to write a paper about a cat named Simon. I guess I'll just go with this. It gives me one extra character.
