yeah, but these acronyms aren't retarded, and don't really have any good alternatives. Hell, DPS makes sense as long as you're not using it to label a player. "DDs have high DPS" for instance, makes perfect sense. IDK why only FFXI fags call Damage Dealers DDs ("direct damage"?).

What i never understood is AoE. Area of effect isn't even intuitive, you'd say "area damage"
