How's the weather there?

Its not that way for me... but then again I am British, we love talking about the weather. I put this down to the fact that British weather can be remarkably changeable.

Everyone knows that it always rains England!

No, it just seems that way 'cause we talk about it so much.

  5. Woke up today - not to screaming little brats, but rather to huge thunderr and lighting passing overhead.

If its quiet from lack of west coast users not posting, must be coz they're concerned about their pc being fried from random lightning strikes in the area (power surges).

Some of the thunder is so loud that the entire building is trembling. Lucky I'm not in tornado alley, there would be twisters cropping up all over the place. But I kinda miss seeing the lighting in Michigan, striking the rails, trees and occasional unlucky car on the highways.

Most of the thunder has subsided, but its raining cats, dogs and cows - its coming down really hard. Also its fucking freezing.

  12. I hate pollen; I need to wash my car, but I can't since my neighborhood is filled with trees and more trees.

  13. Getting warmer, not bad. As the temperatures stay above 0°C during nights the snow is finally starting to melt... And the skies are as clear as my conscience.

  14. Thundera is picking up again,... Been raining constantly - wonder how you guys are doing down river (palmtop, anti etc,), anyone worshed away by flash flooding yet?

Oh wait a minute, its starting to hail, can hear the clatter of ice hitting the roof and outside the ground is covered in white shit. Lots of bright lightning flashing and huge thunderous clammour....
The racket of the hail coming down on the carports is horrendous.

  15. It was warm and sunny a couple days ago, warm enough that neighbors were running their A/C to get cooler.

Last night it was raining and this morning was cold and damp. There was a weee break in the clouds earlier this afternoon. But while its clear over head, the temperature has plummeted. Feels like lower forties, no doubt due to the prevailing wind chill making it colder than it has to be.

  16. It's cold here tonight. Right now it's 36 Fahrenheit with a chance of rain/snow.

  17. >months of drought
    >hosepipe announced ban in my region
    >suddenly, a week of non-stop rain

    Typical English weather.

The next time a hosepipe ban is announced, I'm going to build an ark and fill it with animals.
