EDIT: I can also see Apple having already prepared a report on his death, just in case... and someone accidentally releasing it even though he's still alive. Mistakes like that have been made in the past. And no, I'm not claiming that is what happened, just stating a possibility.
Apple once ran just fine without Jobs for 12 years and didn't really have serious trouble until the mid 90s.
He was a marketing genius the kind who could sell ice to Eskimos and will be missed but I feel some of his policies were too controlling such as insisting IOS be so locked down.
