Could be that smart, ugly people just don't make the news because they don't do dumb crap like have sex with their sisters in public elevators. Same idea as how nobody hears about the majority of Muslims who just do their generally normal day-to-day stuff, because nobody gives a crap about watching people do normal, boring things all day. So, you get an disproportionate exposure in the news to ugly, stupid people, and terrorist Muslims. If you're really lucky, you even get both in the same story.

Anyway, it's nothing to do with the news. Some of us GO OUTSIDE and meet people and observe people. And we have noticed that the smarter people tend to be better looking than stupid people..

I find that claim at best spurious. It's rather easy to point out a great number of incredibly stupid, good looking people, as well as pretty ugly, smart people. Nice assumption that I'm one of the basement dwellers on here, though. I've gone outside and met people too, and I arrived at different conclusions than you did. Neither of us really has a sound basis for our opinions, as conclusions drawn on anecdotal observations are typically pretty weak.
And there's something of a difference between rants and analogies. If you'd prefer, I could rephrase it in terms of Christians being portrayed as bigots, or academics being shown as nothing but gays and communists, the analogy remains the same. You can argue that the analogy fails, but I hardly think one sentence constitutes a rant.

Well this area is a little too controversial for scientific surveys, so anecdotal evidence is all we have to go by.
And I've spoken to quite a lot of people about this, and every single one (other than you, and I suspect that you're being deliberately contrarian) has noticed the same thing. We must therefore ask whether these observations are due to a massive set of coincidences, or whether the observations really do reflect reality. The latter is more plausible.
But maybe I shouldn't have bothered responding. Your second sentence showed your impeccable retard credentials. If I said that men tended to be taller than women, you would probably find some photos of WNBA players and male jockeys and claim them to be conclusive evidence to the contrary. A few exceptions do not disprove a general rule.
