The oil shortage in these days forces us to afford fuel economic half electric cars called hybrids. The same thing happened a few decades ago, which killed high horsepower big block cars. The cuda, trans am, chevelle, oldmobile, falcon x series, and so on. Well, most of them. The mustang gt, camaro ss, dodge challenger, corvette, they're the few cars who survived.
People stops buying muscle cars and trying to get 60 mpg prius because they think muscle cars are just nothing more than a slow, gas guzzling piece of trash. Some of them think that expensive exotic sport cars are faster than muscle sport cars like corvette.
But they're wrong. Nothing can kill the production of these classic powerful cars. Mustangs, corvettes, vipers, they can go fast even without chargers, and they have good gas mileage. There is a 385 hp mustang who has 48.5 mpg. Stock boss 302 runs 11.7 seconds. What will happen when you put twin turbo inside a muscle car? Lingenfelter z06 vette's top speed is counted over 300 mph, compared to 267 mph veyron. And also, muscle cars look much more better than new sport cars, with their aggressive face and lamps (lol compare to nissans lamp), and their fastback tail, especially mustang's. Compare Prius' hatchback shitback.
So which one do you choose? Hemi or Prius?

Hemi only matters if you tow things. if you just go to work and home I'd say Prius. If you DO tow things the Hemi all the way.

Beauty is often in the eye of the beholder.
Some of us have good taste and others have -uh- questionable taste. . . then a few of us have simply no taste wutso ever & can't tell the difference between beauty & eyesores.
Just imagine taking a prius and chopping out the back section, just to turn it into a 2 seater, with some more body work, it ought to have decent accelleration and even better milage since its got less weight to drag around.

Still todays modern factory made (off the lot) American Muscle cars are crap no matter how you want to look at it.

If you have a muscle car you should muscle through the cops, not run from them.

Second not are American cars are shoddy or plain.
If you ask me the interior of the Prius is one of the cheapest made things I have ever seen.
Want to be green and cool get a Tesla though you better be rich too but then being on the cutting edge of high technology coolness is not cheap.
if I had the money I'd buy one.
Of course I do like the Dodge Challenger too and it gets up to 25 mpg.
