I think Germany has laws on what names you're allowed to give your kids.
This is one case where the Krauts are right. Doing that to a kid is tantamount to child abuse and is indicative of psychological problems.

There are laws like that over here too, but they've been skirted by really obstinate parents nonetheless. Black mothers are especially keen on naming their children pseudo-poetic ethereal shit. The law almost saved one child being names "Miraculus[sic] Melody of Life" (or something like that), but they managed to bypass laws by changing it into "Miraculus-Melody-of-Life", if I'm not mistaken.
