Agreed. I cringe at any shipping content that goes beyond being "heart warming". I'm a stickler for canon things so I don't like shipfics too much either.

Most lesbians do not have scratchy voices. I dont know where you got that, but that isn't true at all. same goes for boyish characteristics.

The scratchy voice helps emphasize the implied tomboy characteristics. I think her voice sounds deeper/scratchier than the average females voice.
