   Seriously? Wankers writing a long troll sprawl on how tough they are and bitching about "PC Pussy Brigades"? Sprees of anti-black racism? People talking about how hardcore/ghetto they are (okay, the last one was cool and I like that =P) here.

   The last time I was on the actual FORUM (not the comments section) I remembered things being noticeably different. Anyone explain what happened to here? When I remember "the good old days" I remember more loli discussions and net-uyoku shitting on China and Korea in a nationalistic Japanese sense. Anyone here like to explain that for me?

   EDIT: its not just that thread, some others are turning moralfaggy and normalfag. E.g. people saying people caught with CP deserve to be V&

   Well, simply put, a lot of users changed.
   As The Antiweaboo would probably put it, now it's full with virgin teen-agers being losers and such.

   I feel like the whole level of maturity dropped, the discussions are usually bland or about uninteresting topics. Right now browsing this forum is more of a habit than something I do for fun, like it was in the past.

   You know, mature people don't drag on internet flame wars. They just give up, 'cause they have more interesting stuff to do during the day. So they leave, and what's left is what you see.

   With a few exceptions, but that's the general idea.

   EDIT: it seems as if some of the users changed as well. Last time I was here, this one use I see in threads was a noticeable amount nicer. Im not sure.

   what I don't like is that always the same threads are discussed and too few new threads are created, new info just isn't coming in

   I can also see these points, as I and the rest of older SanCom's have seen the changes, occur over these past years...

   Many are most likely lurking and watching now...

   I am neutral in stance concerning this thread, thus why I am pondering over it, I am not rushing for closure, as many factors will be responsible for the decision anyway.

   Many threads do exist, just named differently, and they always end up as the rest... being the same in - "general responses" - and the same people will respond in kind.

   no difference...

   I am very sure that the members will link to them eventually... so I am just waiting and letting the members comment on this topic at hand.

    Unlikely...yet possible...

    I am going to place an (personal) opinion on this...

    More than likely... many have *just* grown up and moved on.

    Yes, there are some who come back, stir the shite pot, and hope that its enough for a (re-entry) into a wild west diss-ney display blast from the past (ala) Universal Studios flair..

    They hope that will lead to bloodshed and what happens, its accepted for a quick relief of pent-up emotions, then most just get tired of it...

    Face it - "change" - is inevitable and will occur whether we like it or not..

    However, I will not fall into the same posting of - "what if's" - "has been's" - and "wishes it was back to the glory days" statements...

    I seen it change, I am not always in agreement in what changes have occurred, but I am open minded enough to accept it, and continue on with keeping myself present here on a continual basis.

    Oh! ~

    The reasons why I did not elaborate on those quotes above... is this...

    Think about it...

    If I did, I would be that - "bitter old man" - (that many say I am) - and unfortunate for them, I am not bitter in the least, I am quote the opposite.

    However....

    ~ to hear those younger than me say/use - "those same words" - I placed, just proves - (imo) - that they have ndeed gotten older, are bitter, and they don't like - that they - like the forum...

    Assuming of course, you're one of the former "boat rockers" that either got banned or got out before he was banned.

    So things have noticeably "mellowed" a little, although there are occasional noobies that drift in with the tide, and make a little ruckus from time to tiem (see the wad of closed threads on pages 4 thru 10, for refference).

    But all is well in the forum, since deth, motaku, the rock & some other mods are participating in being more affirmative & actively assertive to their responsibilities as Official Moderators (demigods) of SanCom.

    And yes - if you push their buttons, they will exercise the traditional "banhammer". - if you get too naughty.
